Fairplay Tournament Cancelled

Fellow Nensga Golfers,

The tournament at Fairplay was cancelled due to low entries. It is unfortunate, but it is what
it is. A couple of things need to be addressed, it is very important to SEND IN YOUR ENTRY
FORMS. There were 4 teams that showed up on the day of the tournament that had not sent
in entry forms or called the course to reserve a spot. We were unable to notify these members as we were unaware they were coming. A wasted trip! Also, it could have caused a
shortage of food had the tournament been held. PLEASE send your forms in or if it is a last minute decision, PLEASE call the course so they can be prepared. Thanks.

Indians Trails in Beemer is next up on July 12. I stopped into the course today and it is in
tremendous shape. I have played this course several times and truly have never seen it in better shape. I drove the entire course, very impressive. If you have never played this course, it is a must play! In my opinion it has to rate in the top 5 in the State for playability and beauty. Hole 11 will take your breath away, with a stunning view from on high looking over the course and the Elkhorn River Valley.

As some of you may have heard, the bridges at Beemer and Wisner have been closed due to damage from the flooding. Please go to the SCHEDULE tab under the tournaments tab and click on the Indian Trails (high lited in Blue) , the home page gives you alternate routes to get to the Course. I would suggest you allow an extra half hour to get there. Jeff will have
complimentary range balls for anyone who wishes to loosen up on their range, very nice!

Lets turn out in the numbers I know we can produce, they have an outstanding meal planned and their facilities are second to none, trust me on this one!
